www.AllAboutTurkey.com has won an important award in tourism sector. The TUREB (Turkish Tour Guides Association) has selected through a public poll the "Best of Tourism of 2008" in various categories such as; Tourism Promotion, Sustainable Tourism, Hospitality, Authentic Tourist Product, Cultural Tourism, and Tourism Education. The www.AllAboutTurkey.com got its award in the category of Tourism Promotion > Best Travel Website.
The ceremony was held at Divan restaurant in Istanbul on the 21st of February 2009 with the participation of Mr. Ertugrul Gunay, the minister of Tourism and Culture of Turkey, Mr. Serif Yenen, the president of the Turkish Tour Guides Association, Ms. Tulin Sahin, Turkish top model and the "face" of Turkey's promotional advertisement around the world. There were also many other officials from the Government, national and local TV stations and press, and representatives from tourism sector.
